Hello. My name is Nicola Allan. I’m an artist, writer and astrologer based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
Nicola spent her childhood making art but eventually studied law and went on to practice as a lawyer for just over twelve years. In 2020, she was living in Mexico and working remotely as both a lawyer and illustrator, when the pandemic dried up all her usual sources of work. A chance encounter with an astrologer and tarot reader led to the making of her first tarot deck, and began her journey to the creation of The Wild Way when she returned home to Scotland in 2021. Nicola has since undertaken formal astrology study with Nightlight Astrology and incorporates this into her work with Astraea Creative, a publishing company she founded in 2022. In late 2025, Nicola will be opening her books and begin consulting with clients.
